Ultraformer MPT is the latest generation of focused ultrasound technology from CLASSYS, the South Korean medical aesthetics company behind the globally recognised Ultraformer platform.

WHAT IS ULTRAFORMER MPT?
Ultraformer MPT is an advanced High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) system using Micro and Macro Focused Ultrasound technology.
Unlike treatments that work predominantly at the surface of the skin, Ultraformer MPT can deliver focused ultrasound energy to a choice of precise depths beneath the skin.
Different cartridges allow your treatment to be tailored according to your individual anatomy, skin quality, tissue thickness and concerns.
For facial treatments, these include depths of:
1.5mm • 2.0mm • 3.0mm • 4.5mm
Deeper cartridges are also available for selected face and body indications.
This ability to work at multiple levels means we can treat much more than simply “loose skin”.
We can design a treatment around the individual face — improving skin quality at more superficial levels while targeting deeper supporting structures where greater lifting and contouring are required.
HOW DOES ULTRAFORMER MPT WORK?
Ultraformer MPT concentrates ultrasound energy at carefully selected depths beneath the skin.
Think of sunlight passing through a magnifying glass: the energy is concentrated at a precise focal point while the surface above remains largely unaffected.
At the targeted depth, Ultraformer creates controlled Thermal Coagulation Points.
This controlled thermal stimulation causes existing collagen fibres to contract and initiates a natural healing and remodelling response.
Fibroblast activity is stimulated and the body begins producing and reorganising collagen over the weeks and months following treatment.
This is why Ultraformer isn't simply about the result you see when you leave clinic.

One of the reasons Ultraformer has become so well known internationally is its ability to deliver focused ultrasound energy to deeper structural tissue.
The SMAS — Superficial Musculo-Aponeurotic System — is part of the deeper support network of the face.
It is also an important anatomical layer addressed during surgical facial lifting procedures.
Using the appropriate cartridge, Ultraformer MPT allows focused ultrasound energy to be delivered at depths including 4.5mm, creating controlled thermal coagulation within deeper tissue without surgically cutting or removing the skin.

WHAT MAKES ULTRAFORMER MPT DIFFERENT FROM TRADITIONAL HIFU?
Not all HIFU devices are the same.
Ultraformer MPT represents the latest generation of the Ultraformer platform and incorporates Micro-Pulsed Technology (MPT) alongside conventional focused ultrasound delivery.
Its MP mode distributes ultrasound energy across a broader treatment zone using much finer thermal coagulation points.
This allows energy to be delivered rapidly and evenly while giving us significantly greater flexibility when designing your treatment.
CLASSYS reports that MP mode delivers ultrasound energy 2.5 times faster than Normal Mode, helping to reduce treatment time while maintaining highly controlled energy delivery.
Ultraformer MPT also offers multiple cartridges, treatment depths and energy delivery modes, allowing us to move away from a standardised “one treatment fits everyone” approach.

IS IT PAINFUL?
Ultraformer MPT has been developed to provide a faster and more comfortable HIFU experience than earlier-generation technologies.
You may feel warmth, tingling or short bursts of deeper sensation as the energy is delivered, but treatment is generally well tolerated. There is typically minimal downtime, allowing you to return to normal activities quickly.

Using the specialist Ultra-Booster handpiece, focused ultrasound energy is delivered alongside the DSB 357 Skin Boost Ampoule, an exclusive Ultraformer formulation designed to work as the conducting medium during treatment rather than conventional ultrasound gel.
The ampoule contains 57 active skin ingredients, including PDRN, glutathione, niacinamide, adenosine and Centella asiatica, together with 7 forms of hyaluronic acid, 10 multi-peptides and 17 amino acids.
